Frequently Asked Questions
We focus exclusively on the CAPS (Department of Basic Education) curriculum. Specializing in this syllabus allows us to be experts in the specific pacing, content, and assessment methods required for success in South African public schools.
We believe in a patient, personalized approach. Rather than a "one-size-fits-all" lecture, we focus on identifying the student's specific gaps in understanding. We aim to build confidence by mastering the fundamentals before moving on to complex problem-solving.
We offer flexibility to suit your needs. We can facilitate one-on-one in-person assistance or interactive online tutoring via platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. Both formats are designed to be engaging and focused. We also conduct house calls for you & your child's convenience.
No, we believe in flexibility. We operate on a month-to-month basis. You are not locked into a long-term binding contract, meaning you can pause or stop tutoring whenever you need to, provided the correct notice is given.
Fees are paid on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis for your convenience. We will provide you with a clear invoice and banking details once we have confirmed a schedule that works for you.
We have a standard policy in place to ensure fairness and consistency for all our students. Full details regarding cancellations, missed dates, and rescheduling procedures are outlined in our Welcome Pack, which is provided upon registration.
We know that help is often needed urgently. Once you have contacted us with your grade and subject requirements, we aim to confirm a slot and begin assistance as soon as possible - often within 24 hours.
